从十九到二十世纪的初期,由于在前寒武纪地层中划分地层单位的最初尝试,对前寒武系划分和远距离对比方法产生了兴趣。历史上形成了三种这样的方法:历史地质法、放射地质法和古生物法,它们的发展是紧密相关的。本文仅就历史地质法概述如下:为了论证最重要的地层界线,在确立历史地质方法时曾采用了一系列的构造和物质标志,但后来形成两方面的独立方法:构造法和沉积岩石法。
From the beginning of the nineteenth to the early twentieth century, interest in the Precambrian classification and long-range contrasting methods was the result of initial attempts to divide stratigraphic units in the Precambrian strata. Three such methods have historically been formed: historical geology, radiological geology and paleontology, whose development is closely linked. This article only summarizes the historical geological law as follows: In order to demonstrate the most important stratigraphic boundaries, a series of structural and material indicators were used in establishing historical geologic methods, but later two independent methods were developed: the tectonic method and the sedimentary rock method.
