“后生可畏”,这一成语中的“可畏”,不是可怕的意思,而是值得佩服的意思。“后生可畏”,是说青年人后辈们是值得钦佩的,语出《论语·子罕》。“万象更新”,这一成语中的“更”读 gēng 是变更、变成的意思,如解作“更加”,那就错了。“万象更新”,是说一切景象变得焕然一新。“人莫予毒”,如理解为没有哪个人比我狠毒,那就令人笑话节。这则成语的“毒”,是“威胁”或“伤害”的意思;正确理解是:没有人能伤害我,即谁也不能把我怎么样。语出《左传·僖二十八年》
