Extrusion studies have led to the development of a new type of screw that replaces the current rectangular cross-section with trapezoidal cross-sectional grooves. The evaluation of this double wedge (TW) screw has shown that in most cases a higher output can be obtained. And found double wedge screw working stability is also excellent.
