三年前,为了解决辖区内外来个体户和双职工孩子上幼儿园的问题,武汉市江汉区北湖街63岁的离休老师齐世达将北湖小区的二室一厅住房腾出来,创办了北湖便民学堂,教孩子们读书,并料理孩子们的生活。齐老师规定:孩子们的接送时间不受限制,每个孩子每月只交伙食费,其余费用全部从自己的退休工资中支出。从学堂开学那天起,每天早上6时到晚上8时,教孩子、喂孩子,老人从未有怨言。孩子们非常喜欢他,管他叫“爷爷老师”。
