《索隐》:《淮南子》云:“夫乱人者,若芎(?)之与槁本。”(中华书局本1982年11月第2版,3006页。下同)按:芎(?),辞书不载。此引《淮南子》文以释《子虚赋》“穹穷”一词,与“芎(?)”无涉,疑有误。检《淮南子·汜论训》,作“夫乱人者,芎(?)之与槁本也,蛇床之与麋芜也,此皆相似者”。“芎(?)”似为“芎(?)”之误。芎(?),与“穹穷”为同义异形词,多年生草本植物,以产于四川者为佳,又名川芎。中华本所据底本清同治五年金陵书局本《史记》正作“芎(?)”,则中华本当属排印之误。
