我县共有391447人,其中0～7岁儿童占12.20%。实施儿童计划免疫前的1978年,与计免相关的麻疹、百日咳、白喉和脊灰等四种疾病年发病率为485.12/10万,而在实施计免后的1991年,四种相关疾病的年发病率已降至1.79/10万。实施计免工作前后比较,相关疾病下降率达99.63%。其中白喉已连续六年,脊灰已连续五年无新发病例。特别是在1990年～1991两年中,与我县毗邻的各县,脊灰发病回升,而我县仍保持了无新发病例的记录,这又从流行病学的角度检验了我县的计免工作,展示了计免工作在控制相关疾病中的效果。
