每当打开资本主义国家的医学书刊时,呈现在我们面前的一些资料数据和研究记录,暴露出资本主义社会制度反动、腐朽没落的本质。这如同透过摩天大楼林立、车水马龙的华尔街窥见哈莱姆区的贫民窟一样,资本主义社会的千疮百孔便由此可见一斑了。随着资本主义社会日趋腐朽、糜烂,资本主义社会固有的弊病所带来的医学问题,充斥在许多医学资料里,其中以吸毒、酗酒和性病问题最为严重,而在美国最为突出,报告也最多。
