Jiangsu Provincial Association of Journalism, Nanjing University Department of Journalism and Communication, Wuxi Daily jointly organized the “party newspaper public opinion and reader awareness seminar” in November 5, 1998 to 7 in Wuxi City. More than 50 experts and scholars from the Party newspapers and colleges, university news departments, news research institutes and news academic journals in the country gathered to discuss the theme of the meeting in a warm and in-depth manner. The seminar received press circles from Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hubei, Sichuan, Henan and Shanxi.
