去年11月,应日本有关方面的邀请,我参加了温州市人民政府派遣的美术家代表团,赴日进行了为期15天的学术交流活动。在日期间我们举办了书画联展;访问了东京、大阪、京都、奈良、石卷等地;参观了当地的美术馆、博物馆和名胜古迹;拜会了部分收藏家和画家。机会难得的是,我们去东京时正赶上第26回“创画展”闭幕前夕和规模宏大的第31回“日展”开幕,我们在两天之内就看到了两个日本国家级的大展。近20年,日本传统绘画进步之快,引起我的重视,我想通过这次访日作一些调查。半个月的所见所闻,使我比较集中地了解了日本画的发展情况,由此又引申出关于中国绘画现代化问题的进一
Last November, at the invitation of the Japanese government, I participated in a delegation of artists dispatched by the People’s Government of Wenzhou Municipality to Japan to conduct a 15-day academic exchange. During the days we held a series of paintings and calligraphy exhibitions; visited Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Ishinomaki and other places; visited the local art galleries, museums and monuments; met with some collectors and painters. The rare opportunity is that when we went to Tokyo to catch up with the 26th issue of “Creative Exhibition” and the opening of the huge 31st “Japan Exhibition”, we saw within two days two large Japanese nationals exhibition. In the past 20 years, the rapid progress of traditional Japanese painting has aroused my attention. I would like to make some investigations through this visit to Japan. What I saw and heard for half a month made me understand the development of Japanese painting in a more concentrated manner and thus extended the question of the modernization of Chinese painting
