鄂尔多斯(蒙古语,意为“众多的宫殿”)市位于内蒙古自治区西南部,历史悠久,是人类文明的发祥地之一。鄂尔多斯境内蕴藏着丰富的能源矿产资源,近年来,鄂尔多斯经济社会实现了跨越式发展,成为崛起在内蒙古高原上的一颗璀璨明珠。鄂尔多斯市是多种宗教并存的地区。近年来,鄂尔多斯市宗教局依法管理宗教事务,积极引导宗教与社会主义社会相适应,全市宗教领域呈现出和谐稳定的良好态势。
Erdos (Mongolian, meaning “numerous palaces”) is located in the southwest of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and has a long history. It is one of the cradles of human civilization. Erdos has abundant energy and mineral resources in its territory. In recent years, the Ordos economy and society have achieved leapfrog development and become a shining pearl rising on the Inner Mongolia Plateau. Erdos is a multi-religious area. In recent years, Ordos City Religious Affairs Bureau manages religious affairs in accordance with the law and actively guides religions to adapt to the socialist society. The religion in the city shows a harmonious and stable good situation.
