石油构造分析是资源勘查和石油工程本科高年级的重要专业必修课程之一,是伴随着石油勘探工业的发展而兴起的与生产实际联系最紧密的一门边缘学科,是构造地质学在石油地质学领域的延续,是构造地质学与石油地质学相结合的产物。作者通过“石油构造分析”课程教学的实践活动,分析了该课程在油气勘探开发中的重要性及课程的特点,并对如何提高教学的实效性提出了具体方法和措施。
