克里斯蒂娜.罗塞蒂是英国维多利亚时期最伟大的女诗人之一,她一生中写了大量的抒情短诗,其中大部分是爱情诗。她的爱情诗主要表现为三类主题:一类是爱的渴望与喜悦,一类是爱的磨难与追忆,一类是爱的绝望与放弃。《生日》《思忆》和《我的无名氏14》分别是这三类爱情诗的代表作。本文通过对三首诗的分析比较,挖掘其充满张力的矛盾性,体现了诗人在精神与世俗之间的挣扎与追寻。
Christina Rossetti is one of the greatest female poets in Victorian England. She wrote lots of lyrical short poems in her life, most of which are love poems. Her love poems mainly show three kinds of themes: one is the desire and joy of love, one is the love of the tribulation and memory, one is the love of despair and give up. “Birthday” “Si Yi” and “My Anonymous 14” are the representative works of these three types of love poems. By analyzing and comparing the three poems, this paper explores its contradiction of tension and manifests the poet’s struggles and pursuits between spirit and secularity.
