Weihe basin developed several active fracture system. The near-east-west arc fracture system consists of seven arc faults near the east-west. They run through the whole area and control the basic contour of the Weihe Basin, which forms the main body of the Weihe Graben, which determines the formation and development of the basin, resulting in Strong earthquakes above the 6th grade are distributed along the basin. The east-west and northwesterly-west two faults are important members of the basin. The former may exhibit creep movement and the latter control the flow of the Weihe River, which may be the seismogenic structure of 2 strong earthquakes. The north-north eastward fault system actively rebuilds the water system to control the translation of current small and medium earthquakes. The northwestern arc fracture system determines the seismic activity at the western end of the basin. The weak north-south rupture does not seem to be enough to trigger an earthquake.
