美术是:“具有可视形象以供欣赏、占据一定平面或空间的艺术。”艺术形式主要是表达艺术家的情感和思想观念。审美能力是个人所具有的与进行审美活动相关的主观条件和心理能力。艺术教育在提高学生道德素质修养中有重要作用,中学生要通过各种方法提高自己的艺术鉴赏能力和审美能力,从而提高自己的素质修养。审美意识和能力将是伴随学生一生的财富,对学生进行审美教育,不是一早一夕之功,而是一个长期的潜移默化的过程。在美术教学过程中注重启发学生动手、欣赏能力,加强教师本身的知识并在美术作品欣赏、美术绘画、美术设计等方面培养学生的审美能力。

Aesthetic ability is an individual’s subjective and psychological abilities related to performing aesthetic activities.
