廖静文女士是我们从小熟悉的传记文学作家、我国近代艺术大师徐悲鸿先生的夫人、我们从小敬仰的杰出女性。十多年前,在徐悲鸿先生诞辰一百周年的时候,我曾奉命采访过她。那是一次简短的工作访问,在纪念馆,她的纪念活动安排十分繁忙,我们匆匆交谈了几句,就匆匆离开了。十多年过去了,虽然也经常在媒体上看到廖老的消息,但年届八旬的老人,现在还在为弘扬传播徐悲鸿先生的艺术而工作,她的身体到底怎么样?每每看到她的消息,心里总是挺惦记的。春节前,《中国书法》周志高主编来电,说书法界很多读者关心廖老,希望我写一篇小文,介绍一下她的近况。我就大胆拨通了廖老家的电话。接电话的是廖老的长子、现在中国人民大学徐悲鸿艺术学院任院长的徐庆平教授。他说我母亲耳朵不好,不能亲自接电话;欢迎你们来家作客,文章就不要登了。
Miss Liao Jingwen is a familiar biographical writer and a lady of modern art in China, Mr. Xu Beihong, an outstanding female whom we grew up in.
