不久前,笔者对照法文原著,阅读了傅雷先生译成中文的几篇短篇小说:《邦梭的爱情》《葬礼》、《文明》和《面貌》(见1984年安徽人民出版社出版的《傅雷译文集》第十四卷),发现其中有些地方与原文有出入,值得商榷,现摘要如一下,向专家学者和广大读者请教。一译文应力求对原著忠实,要做到这一点,首先要对原文有正确的词语辨义。但在上述译品中,却出现一些词语辨义方面的失误,例如: 1.Un rayon de soleil coupait I’ombre obliquement,visite par un tourbillon scintil-
Not long ago, I read the original French texts and read several short stories translated by Mr. Fu Lei into Chinese: “Love of Bonds”, “Funeral,” “Civilization,” and “Appearances” (see “Fu Lei, People’s Publishing House, 1984” Translation volume "of the fourteenth volume), found some of them with the original text is discrepancies, it is open to question, the abstract is like a moment to consult experts and scholars and readers. A translation should strive to be faithful to the original. To do this, we must first have the correct definition of the original words.
