程绪珂教授1945年毕业于金陵大学农学院园艺系,迄今为止,程老已为我国的园林事业奋斗了50余年。从上海市园林管理处苗圃助理技师、中山公园主任、园林管理处副处长到上海市园林管理局局长,上海园林绿化的每项建设,无不浸透着她的心血,像上海动物园、上海植物园、上海大观园(获中国鲁班金质奖)就是程老直接参与建设的。近十年来,程老还指导或主持了许多重大的科研项目,这些课题有深度、有依据、有实践指导意义,引起各方面的重视,产生了极大反响。她指导《园林生态经济发展战略研究》,获联合国国际科技巨星奖;主持《园林经济与管理研究》,获’92建设部科技进步二等奖;主持《生态园林研究和实施》,获’93建设部科技进步三等奖;主持《迈向21世纪上海绿化发展研究》,获’96建设部科技进步二等奖。
Professor Cheng Xuke graduated from the horticulture department of Jinling University Agricultural College in 1945. So far, Cheng Lao has struggled for more than 50 years in China’s garden industry. From nursery assistant technician in Shanghai Garden Management Office, director of Zhongshan Park, deputy director of landscape management office to director of Shanghai Garden Management Bureau, every construction of Shanghai landscaping is immersed in her efforts such as Shanghai Zoo, Shanghai Botanical Garden, Shanghai Grand View Garden (China Luban gold medal) is Cheng Lao directly involved in the construction. In the past ten years, Cheng Lao has also directed or presided over many major scientific research projects. These topics are profound, based on practical guidance and have drawn great attention from all quarters and have had tremendous repercussions. She directed the “Research on the Strategy of Ecological Economic Development in Gardens” and won the United Nations International Scientific and Technological Awards; presided over the “Research on Landscape Economy and Management” and won the second prize of ’92 Scientific and Technological Progress Award of the Ministry of Construction; presided over the ’Research and Implementation of Ecological Gardens’ and won the ’93 Ministry of Construction Science and Technology Progress Award; presided over the “Toward the 21st Century Shanghai Greening Development Research”, won the ’96 Ministry of Construction Science and Technology Progress Award.
