According to the universal development of things, this paper analyzes the current situation of Chinese documentaries, and discusses the subjective and objective factors of Chinese documentaries in the light of the various stages of Chinese history. China’s documentary not only lags behind its own development, but also lacks the relative attraction with the masses. This is the fundamental reason leading to the unreasonable development of the Chinese documentary. The future of Chinese documentaries depends not only on the outstanding documentary film guides who are at the forefront but also on the need to expand the documentary cognitive base and documentary to the masses as if by boat. First, China’s current social environment and the development of the documentary Pimiancuo salt before the painting and calligraphy, China’s economic base to determine the image of Ji
