9月26日,雄居国内微机销售榜首的著名厂商美国AST公司在穗举办新产品发布会,宣布推出包括AST Ascentia 950N笔记本电脑、AST AD-VANTAGE!ADVENTURE家用电脑等在内的从笔记本电脑、台式微机至超级服务器全线功能提升的各类新产品.这次广州大型发布会是继北京、上海之后的第三站,AST亚太中东区副总裁马发礼先生也专程参加了这次发布活动,INTEL公司、微软公司同时也派要员参加,从而使这次发布会变成了一场新产品、新技术聚萃的盛会.同时,AST公司亦藉此机会,宣布广州办事处正式成立.美国AST公司是美国最大的工业和服务业的FOR-TUNE 500家企业之一,是世界上最大的个人计算机制
