所谓职务消费,是指公职人员在行使职权、履行职责过程中,所发生的由公费支出的物质消耗以及由此派生出的其他消费。长期以来,由于公职人员职务消费管理不规范,在一些地方和部门出现了不当职务消费的现象,也为一些腐败行为的发生提供了温床,对此群众反映强烈。近来,我刊收到不少读者来稿,对职务消费中存在的问题、成因及治理对策提出了自己的看法,我们对部分来稿进行了摘编,予以刊发,以期引起各级各部门对职务消费中存在问题的更多关注,并从实践“三个代表”重要思想的高度,采取切实可行的措施予以治理。
