汉语诗歌所隐涵的汉文化丰厚而深邃,要对其进行英译,就必须考虑文化内容和文化因素的选择和翻译。本文从“文化转向”理论出发,通过对几篇汉语诗歌的英译版本进行分析,就汉语诗歌英译中的文化顺应选择问题进行了探讨。笔者认为,文化顺应对翻译层面的跨文化交际提供了理论指导,为诗歌翻译研究提供新的辅助工具。
The Chinese culture implied by Chinese poetry is rich and profound. To translating English into Chinese, we must consider the choice and translation of cultural contents and cultural factors. Starting from the theory of “cultural shift”, this paper analyzes the choice of cultural adaptation in the English translation of Chinese poetry through the analysis of several English versions of Chinese poetry. The author believes that cultural adaptation provides theoretical guidance for translating intercultural communication and provides new aids for translation studies of poetry.
