根据杨平澜教授在“松蚧属研究并记述一新属”的论文中,已将松蚧属Matsucoccus中的危害松针的蚧虫从该属分出,而建立了松梢蚧新属Sonsaucoccus,那末我国危害松属Pinus的树干部的松蚧属的松干蚧共有5种。如果民主德国的M.mugoSiewniak 1971确实属于松干蚧雌成虫的话(该新种原图与松蚧属雌成虫形态特征不太符合),世界上的松干蚧则应是17种。
