雪域歌舞有非常久远的历史,藏民族在青藏高原上辛勤拓荒几千年,积淀了丰厚的艺术土壤和养份。不算史前社会,有文字记载的就有2000多年。雪域歌舞大体可分为两大支系:即民间歌舞支系和宗教舞蹈支系;从类别上看则可分四大类型:即谐——歌舞、卓——舞蹈、噶尔——乐舞、羌姆——宗教舞蹈。这两系四类舞蹈在西藏各个地区,又有各自具体的形态特征。本文仅介绍几种有特色的西藏民间舞蹈。(?)谐——圆圈歌舞
