由全球环境基金(GEF)、联合国开发计划署(UNDP)、国际海事组织(IMO)共同发起的“建立东亚海域环境及管理的伙伴关系”计划近期经全球环境基金批准,已正式立项。该计划包括渤海湾在内的9个国家级示范区和跨边界示范区项目。项目预算总金额为2500万美元。项目的起止时间为1999年~2003年,为期5年。 “伙伴关系”计划是全球环境基金根据联合国21世纪议程确立的四个优先支持领域(即生物多样性保护、臭氧层保护、国际水域管理、防止气候变化)中国际水域管理方面在东亚海域
The “Partnership in Environment and Management in the East Asian Seas” co-sponsored by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has been formally approved by the GEF. The plan includes 9 national demonstration zones and cross-border demonstration zones including Bohai Bay. The total project budget is 25 million U.S. dollars. The starting and ending time of the project is from 1999 to 2003, for a period of 5 years. The “Partnership” program is one of the four areas of priority support identified by the GEF under Agenda 21 of the United Nations (ie, biodiversity conservation, ozone layer protection, international waters management, climate change prevention) in the management of international waters in the East Asian Seas
