Ro-Ro transport has been a part of the cargo transport industry for over 30 years. When reviewing the development of ro-ro transport, we will note that this transport mode has a solid technical foundation for its development. The first flat-decked ship that appeared in the early 1950s was the first of a 1958 Ro-Ro (a “Comet” ro-ro built in the United States)
