1 陕西省西安市解放门地区距火车站、长途汽车站咫尺之遥。由于交通便利,加上旅社、招待所和饮食摊点星罗棋布,成了外地旅客十分理想的食宿之地。谁能想到,就在这样的繁华地段却连续发生了两起持刀抢劫外地旅客的恶性案件:1993年5月9日清晨,来西安出差的黑龙江省旅客赵××、李××被4名骑自行车的持刀歹徒在某招待所门前抢劫现金40050元。仅隔3天的5月12日清晨,3个骑自行车的持刀歹徒,又在东六路、尚俭路什字路口把准备乘火车离开西安的57岁的青海一家锡铁矿干部谭××的2190元现金洗劫一空,然后扬长而去……
