To uphold the party’s political leadership over state-owned enterprises is determined by the nature of the state-owned enterprises in our country and as an inevitable requirement for the socialist orientation of reform. In connection with the status of party building in the process of socialist market economy and the actuality of Baosteel’s production, construction, reform and development, we deeply feel that we must uphold the party’s political leadership over state-owned enterprises and bring into full play the role of the country, whether now or in the future.
