京北第一草原又名大滩草原,位于河北省丰宁满族自治县西北部,总面积350平方公里,南距北京285公里,是距首都最近的天然大草原,故名京北第一草原。京北第一草原平均海拔1487米。置身高地仰望,似有天穹压落,云欲擦肩之感。放眼沼泽,滩地组成的旷垠原野,氤氲流生,庶草摇曳,繁花铺地,禽鸟飞鸣,骏马奔驰。京北第一草原自然资源十分丰富。供观赏的众多花草中,5月的金针花,6月的野罂菜,7月的干枝梅,8月的金莲花,倍受人喜爱。10月成百上千的南迁大雁在这里短栖。野兔、鼹鼠、狐、豹等草原动物,经常在坡地草丛中出没。京北第一草原是避暑狩猎的好地方。
The first prairie of Beijing, also known as the Big Beach Prairie, is located in the northwestern part of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County in Hebei Province. It covers a total area of 350 square kilometers and is 285 kilometers south of Beijing. It is the closest natural prairie to the capital. The first steppe of northern Beijing average 1487 meters above sea level. Height looked up, it seems that the sky is falling, clouds want to rub their shoulders.
