云台山世界地质公园位于太行山南麓、河南省焦作市修武县境内,是全球首批世界地质公园,同时又是河南省唯一一个集国家重点风景名胜区、国家首批AAAAA级景区、国家地质公园、国家森林公园、国家水利风景名胜区、国家猕猴自然保护区六个国家级于一体的风景名胜区。该地质公园面积约556平方公里,是一处以裂谷构造、水动力作用和地质地貌景观为主,以自然生态和人文景观为辅,集科学价值与美学价值于一身的综合型地质公园。由于山势险峻、陡峭,落差悬殊,常年云雾缭绕,故称“云台山”。景区面积190平方公里,含泉瀑峡、潭瀑峡、红石峡、子房湖、万善寺、百家岩、仙苑、圣顶、叠彩洞、青龙峡十大景点。公园分
