以1985年9月发达国家五国财长会议以后日元的大幅度升值为背景,亚洲新兴工业经济群的发展充满活力。其象征是最近3年经济增长接近2位数。但是在取得成功的同时,亚洲新兴工业经济群也面临一些新的严峻课题。诸如工资急剧上升,货币大幅升值以及劳工运动高涨等政治状况变化等问题已使得过去的发展模式不再适用。本文根据最新数据和资料,对亚洲新兴工业经济群的现状与问题加以比较研究。下表为亚洲NIEs与日本的比较:
Taking the dramatic appreciation of the yen after the meeting of five finance ministers of developed countries in September 1985, the development of the newly industrialized Asian economic group in Asia is full of vitality. Its symbol is that the economic growth in the recent three years has nearly doubled. However, while succeeding, emerging industrial economies in Asia are also facing some new and serious issues. Issues such as the dramatic rise in wages, the dramatic appreciation of currencies and changes in political conditions such as the rising labor movement have made the past development models no longer applicable. Based on the latest data and information, this article compares the status quo and problems of emerging industrial economies in Asia. The table below shows the comparison between Asian NIEs and Japan:
