The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development recently issued a circular urging all provincial-level urban and rural departments in charge of housing and urban construction to organize the declaration of assembly-type building demonstration cities and industrial bases in 2017 and submit the recommended materials to the Department of Building Energy Conservation and Technology Division by June 25. According to the recommended procedures, provincial-level housing urban and rural construction authorities will organize an expert review committee to evaluate the cities and enterprises that have applied for demonstration, and will recommend to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development the list of approved model cities and industrial bases and related materials.
