壮秧剂一般用于早、中稻育秧上。笔者于1998年将壮秧剂(荆州市农业技术推广中心壮秧剂厂生产)用于棉花营养钵土中培育棉花苗,也获得了成功。其优点有:1.棉苗矮壮墩实使用了壮秧剂的棉苗,无线苗、无弱苗,株株矮壮墩实。2.棉苗健壮无病营养钵土中添加壮秧剂后,在免去钵土消毒、苗床施药防病等工序情况下,仍然获得了无病健壮苗。3.增强了棉苗的抗逆性使用过壮秧剂的棉苗,对高温高湿、阴雨寡照等不良环境
