周尊圣是20世纪末崭露头角的青年画家,自1994年以来就经常在报刊杂志上看到他的作品,1998年中国艺术研究院美术研究所举办了“周尊圣天山山水画学术研讨会”,他的作品也频频出现在全国各大美展上。2000年10月,他的天山山水画要在新疆展出请我撰写前言,当我得知他的作品要展示给天山脚下的人们时,才意识到这个破釜沉舟闯北京的青年画家的毅力和自信。展览无疑是成功的,因为周尊圣是带着对天山的爱,对祖国山河的爱,关照自然,营造自我。历经十年,十次深入新疆腹
Zhou Zun Sheng is a budding youth painter at the end of the 20th century. He has often seen his works in newspapers and magazines since 1994. In 1998, the Institute of Fine Arts of China Academy of Art held “Zhou Zong Sheng Tianshan Mountain Landscape Academic Symposium” and his works frequently Appear in major national art exhibitions. In October 2000, his Tianshan landscape painting was on display in Xinjiang asking me to write a preface. When I learned that his work was going to be displayed to people at the foot of the Tianshan Mountains, I realized the perseverance and confidence of this young painter who broke through Beijing.
