和田地处新疆南部,自然条件艰苦,疫情严重,距军内体系医院300km。为解决空军部队就医问题,筹建了和田空军医疗中心。在解决部队就医和卫生防病工作中发挥了作用,较好地保障了官兵身体健康和战备训练任务的完成,被评为空军“八五”爱国卫生工作先进单位。和田医疗中心搞好卫生防病工作的主要做法是:
