在中国哲学研究领域,不论是在国内还是在西方学术界,在如何选择评定标准的问题上,都是以外在的、预设的西方标准来谈中国哲学,这本身既不科学也不能说明任何问题。要界定中国有无哲学,必须寻求一种内在的客观标准尺度。即从哲学理论内涵和中国自身的文化发展脉络及中国学人的终极关怀来理解中国哲学思想的发展及其特征。正是上述因素决定了中国哲学与西方哲学的内在差异及中国哲学独特的魅力。
In the field of Chinese philosophical studies, both on the domestic and the western academic circles, on the question of how to choose assessment standards, Chinese philosophy is based on external and pre-set Western standards. This in itself is neither scientific nor can it explain any problem. To define whether or not China has philosophy, we must seek an intrinsic objective standard. That is to understand the development and characteristics of Chinese philosophical thought from the connotation of philosophical theory and the context of China’s own cultural development and the ultimate concern of Chinese scholars. It is these factors that determine the inherent differences between Chinese philosophy and Western philosophy and the unique charm of Chinese philosophy.
