(一) 在十年改革过程中,地方报纸的理论宣传做了许多工作,取得了很大成绩,这是必须首先加以肯定的。然而,当前地方报纸的理论宣传确实存在一些值得研究的问题。有一些同志对地方报纸办的理论专版或理论文章,产生了许多看法。其中之一便是:报纸就是报纸,应以发表新闻为主,理论文章要尽量少发,或者干脆不发。有的同志把地方报纸的理论文章概括为九个字——读者少,作者稀,编者愁”。九个字中,关键是前三个字——“读者少。”地方报纸理论文章“读者少”的原因何在呢?有的同志认为,现在是“理论冷淡”,读者没有理论的需要和兴趣。这种看法不能说毫无根据。当前在相当一部分干部和群众中确实存在着忽视理论指导
