At this time two years ago, Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s southern tour made a series of great and far-reaching remarks when he delivered a series of speeches centered on accelerating the pace of reform and development. The most striking feature of the speech in the southern tour is the firm resolution of the dogmatic superstition of the market economy.
