科学研究表明,有高度自尊心的儿童性格比较活泼,智力发展状况较好,善于表达自己的思想,在讨论问题时能主动积极发言,对周围世界感兴趣,喜欢探索,富于创造,对自己所从事的活动充满自信。这样的儿童很少疲倦或生病。缺乏自尊心的儿童,多半情绪低沉,害怕参加集体活动,认为没有人爱他们,也不能表达自己的思想,害怕他人发脾气,讨论问题时他们只听而不发言。
