Objective To investigate and analyze the health status of the special service personnel in the Navy ’s strategic transformation period, analyze their prevalence and trends in the two weeks, and do targeted medical and health protection work. Methods A total of 761 special service personnel from a certain naval unit were selected as the research object. The two-week prevalence was investigated by on-the-spot questionnaire survey. The data of the 2004 Navy Secret Service Survey was used as the control group for comparative analysis. Results There were significant differences in the two-week morbidity rate and disease composition among the special-service naval special personnel in different periods (all P <0.01). The prevalence of the two-week naval special service personnel was 41.13% (313/761), higher than that of 2004 32.26% (349/1 082) of special service personnel in the annual naval health service survey; the prevalence rates of skeletal muscular system diseases and nervous system diseases in two weeks were higher than those in 2004; the prevalence of skin connective tissue diseases in two weeks was lower than that in 2004 Year (P <0.01).
