1 引言 1990年9月下旬在德国汉堡国际海事展览会上,MTU公司展示出两台代号为595(气缸工作容积5.95L)的新颖、引人注目的发动机,一台12缸,另一台16缸,功率范围2000~4400kW。这一机型的开发,为MTU公司填补了其规划机型谱中的中间功率范围,它既可用作高功率用途,也可作为经济耐久机型使用。 MTU在研制595系列方面,积数十年制造现代发动机的经验,广泛采纳了第一手用户的建议,应用了大量的技术研究成果。在研究设计柴油机时,考虑到了今后环保的可接受性、经济性(运转和维修费用)及其耐用性和可靠性。
1 INTRODUCTION At the International Maritime Exhibition in Hamburg, Germany, in late September 1990, MTU demonstrated two new and compelling engines, codenamed 595 (5.95L cylinder capacity), one 12 cylinder and another 16 Cylinder, the power range of 2000 ~ 4400kW. The development of this model fills the MTU’s mid-power range in its planned model spectrum, which can be used both for high-power applications as well as for economical endurance models. MTU in the development of the 595 series, the cumulative number of decades of experience in manufacturing modern engines, extensive adoption of the advice of first-hand users, the application of a large number of technical research results. In studying the design of diesel engines, taking into account the future environmental acceptability, economy (operating and maintenance costs) and its durability and reliability.
