G408是陕西省延安洛川试验站用延安15号作母本、延安13号作父本杂交选育而成。1985年引进我所,经5年参加省、地区域试验,表现高产、稳产、早熟、优质、抗病等优点,于1988年开始进行生产示范推广,1990年6月21日通过省级鉴定。旱塬地一般亩产270公斤左右,最高可达416.67公斤,截止1990年秋播统计,累计推广面积共7745亩。特征特性:G408属强冬性中早熟品种,在西峰生育期为286天左右,比庆丰1号早熟2～3天。株高90～100厘米,较抗倒伏。穗形长方、长芒、白壳,穗长6.5厘米,籽粒红色、角质、千粒重30～35克,容重816克/升。
G408 is Yan’an Luochuan Experimental Station in Yan’an, Shaanxi Province, which was used as the female parent and Yan’an No.13 as the male parent. Introduced in 1985, after five years of participation in provincial and regional trials, it showed the advantages of high yield, stable yield, early maturity, high quality and disease resistance. It started production demonstration promotion in 1988 and passed provincial appraisal on June 21, 1990.
