当今社会,武术这门技艺欣欣向荣,习武者成为晨练的主体,各种武术书籍、光碟均应运而生。就太极拳这个门类来讲,有各大门派的传统套路、国家体委有关部门组织专家集体创编的各种竞赛套路,还有很多新编的(有的说是传统的,某某大师亲传的)太极拳、太极剑、太极刀、太极扇等等,在传承过程中又各有演变,如有的太极剑,同称是一个师傅亲传,但又有差异。真是百花争艳,绚丽纷呈,大有“乱花渐欲迷人眼”之势。对一个习武者个人来说,就要根据自身的条件和爱好,有所选择,不能见好爱好“迷了眼”。
