江苏省扬州市沙口小学与新中国同年诞生,是江苏省实验小学,江苏省科学教育特色学校,扬州市教科研示范校、数字化校园示范校,网上结对工作先进学校。近年来,加强课程文化建设,着力推进‘童年银行’校本课程的建设。‘童年银行’的三大板块为‘道德银行,智慧银行,健美银行’。在‘智慧银行’建设中,学校组织编写了‘全景阅读’系列校本教材,将学生学到的学科课程知识和基本技能,在全景阅读实践中予以延伸、拓宽、强化、巩固,并使学生将在综合实践活动中积累的感性认识和知识经验予以归纳、提炼,再运用于学科学习。学生逐步形成良好的人文素养,在经典诵读比赛、诗歌作文竞赛中成绩喜人,经常有作文在省市报刊发表,科技竞赛屡创佳绩。
