The applicability of the additive-dominance model was determined using the Cavalli (1952) joint scale test and the Jinks-Jones (1958) six-parameter model and the effects of the major genes and the interaction genes were evaluated. Genetic information on grain yield and other agronomic traits was obtained from the parents of three Indian crosses, F_1, F_2 and B_1, B_2 (backcrossing). A simple randomized block designed as three repetitions. Five parents and F1 plants were randomly selected, and 20 plants were selected from each generation to record the quantitative traits.
