UniCorp has produced a type 80F force transducer that requires no external power and no contact, so there is no sliding friction problem. This sensor has a high resolution, suitable for laboratory and production. It can make force-related measurements, including weight, shear tests, tension and tensile strength. The device uses a diaphragm seal, to prevent impurities into the instrument, the accuracy of less than 1% of the actual readings. Because it does not require power (readings are shown on a calibrated resistance meter), it can be used in explosive atmospheres and liquids. Weight up to 3000 grams (80-F111 type 50 kg).
