辞书是人们读书治学、工作生活最常用的工具书。英国朗曼公司曾对辞书市场进行过调查,惊奇地发现辞书打入人们家庭的程度不亚于电视机,9O%以上的家庭至少备有一本词典。这个百分率高于其它任何图书,而且平均每年有10%的人重新购买词典。我们武汉大学图书情报学院也曾对读者使用工具书的情况进行过调查,对象是各种年龄、各种职业的读者,包括从20岁以下到70岁以上的教师、科研人员、干部、学生和工人。从回收的700份答卷中发
Dictionaries are the most commonly used reference books for study and study. Longman, a British company, conducted a survey of the dictionaries market and was surprised to find that dictionaries penetrated into families as much as television sets, with at least 90% of households having at least one dictionary. This percentage is higher than any other book, and an average of 10% of people buy the dictionary every year. We also conducted a survey on the use of reference books by readers in Wuhan University Library and Information Service. The books are intended for readers of all ages and professions, including teachers from 20 years old to over 70 years of age, scientific research personnel, cadres, students and worker.
