自党的十六届四中全会把构建社会主义和谐社会放到与物质文明、政治文明和精神文明建设相并列的突出位置,构建社会主义和谐社会已成为全社会的共识。那么到底什么是和谐社会之“和谐”?全面理解、正确把握“和谐”的哲学意蕴与时代特征是构建社会主义和谐社会的基础和前提,对我们加深对和谐社会的理解,增强对和谐社会运行机制的认识提供理论上的启示。
