印度喀拉拉邦农业大学腰果研究站的madakkathara对腰果进行杂交,培育出一种高产的杂交品种——AMRUTHA。杂交育种的主要目标是培育有中等大小,粗壮坚果和较高外壳形成率的高产品种。此项工作于1973年开始,过去20年中,共获得163个F_1杂交后代,并对其进行了评估。在这些杂交后代中,进一步鉴定、评估出14个具有潜力的杂交后代,发展其中一个杂交品
Madakkathara at the Cashew Research Station at the Agricultural University of Kerala in India conducted a cross between cashew nuts to produce a high-yielding hybrid, AMRUTHA. The main goal of crossbreeding is to breed high-yielding varieties with medium-sized, stout nuts and high shell formation rates. This work began in 1973 and in the past 20 years a total of 163 F1 progeny were obtained and evaluated. Among these hybrids, 14 potential hybrids were further identified and evaluated to develop one of the hybrids
