“谦让”,是我们中华民族的美德之一,是古往今来人与人之间保持亲密往来,进行友好合作共事的良好方法。在我们中国大地上曾流传着许许多多“谦让”的动人故事,至今仍深具教益,成为我们后人教子做人的典范。
“Humility” is one of the virtues of our Chinese nation. It is a good way for our people to maintain close contacts and work together in a friendly and cooperative manner throughout the ages. Many moving stories of “humility” have spread in the land of our China so far. They are still very instructive and have become a model of our future generations.
