义务教育初中《英语》第二册教学录音教材与人教社出版的初中《英语》第二册文字教材在内容上是完全配套的,供初中二年级全学年使用。录音教材分口语录音带(The SpeechCasseffe)和听力训练录音带(The ListeningCasseffe)。口语录音带分朗读带(3盒)和领读带(5盒)两种,内容相同。领读带中留有跟读的时间,以便于课堂教学。口语录音带录了学生课本中大部分的对话、阅读课文、各单元单词和习惯用语及练习中的少数语言练习、谜语和歌曲。听力训练录音带录了第二册学生用书中的全部听力训练课文和教师教学用书中的听写材料。录音带由英语国家人士录音,他们的语音纯正地道、活泼、自然。这对于学生培养语感,模仿正确的语音语调能够起到很好的作用。
